Rosemary Kay

It has been a little over 2 weeks since we welcomed miss Rosemary into our family. Thank you for waiting patiently for the update/pictures... between sleepless nights, passport applications to get across the border in 6 short weeks, and getting a house ready to sell, we have had little time for blogging and posting pictures.
Here is a bit about our girl. She was born August 19th at 3:48 pm in Houston Texas at Memorial Herman Hospital.  After grand plans to have a normal "V-Bac" delivery my water broke 2 1/2 weeks early on a weekend that my OB was out of town.(Credit given to greasy ball park food and all the stairs at the Astros game we went to the night before) We did our best with the on-call doctor and after 14 quite unpleasant hours in labor, sans an epidural, and with no progression other than more intense contractions, she was delivered by Cesarean. It was quite the dramatic delivery in comparison to Wheeler. But in the end we were just happy to have her arrive safely and healthy. She has lots of dark hair, and long skinny arms, legs and feet. She likes to be held and has already accumulated more than her fair share of nicknames. A few are "Romy, Mimi, maymay(from Wheeler) Rose and Rosie."
